London Blackfriars to Millennium Bridge

This series documents the experience of a continuous walk from Blackfriars Bridge to Millennium Bridge along the Thames. Being the first day of truly enjoyable weather in the year, crowds flock to Southbank for strolls and to take in views of the London skyline beneath blue skies and puffy clouds, while others sit with friends in riverside bars and cafés.

Shifting the focus from human presence and interaction to the wider scenery and back, the series reflects the almost tangible energy and buzz of the day — celebrating what it feels like to be alive in a city that can often seem cold, grey, and indifferent.
